Jeffrey Lin
Managing Owner
The Founder's Story
After 800+ inspections and projects, the conclusion was clear: most flat roofs can be repaired and restored instead of landfilled. Mori Commercial Roofing was built around that conviction.
Jeffrey Lin started his journey in the roofing industry as a project manager at a family owned and operated commercial roofing company in California installing single-ply and fluid-applied systems. He would eventually build a residential roofing sector for the company that had previously only worked on flat roofs. Jeffrey later served as a production manager at a national brand roofing company in Oregon, running residential asphalt shingle and standing seam metal projects. The passion for flat roof projects would eventually lead to the founding of Mori Commercial Roofing.
Earlier in his career, he worked as a lean practitioner in facilities at The Boeing Company—where disciplined, waste-eliminating process became second nature. In his time in the roofing industry, it was apparent there were inefficiencies built in to the processes. Jeffrey saw an opportunity to cut down operational costs with the use of technology and other tools learned in his time as a lean practitioner. He wanted to do the same quality work, while passing the savings down to the end user, giving the customer the best possible experience.
Rooted in Protection
Protecting the assets below the roof.
We protect what matters most to our customers—the building, the inventory, the tenants, and the operations beneath the roof. Restoration keeps those assets safe with minimal disruption.
Applied for the Future
Systems that last and give back.
Fluid-applied systems last, come with warranty, and reflect heat to help with cooling costs. By avoiding landfill waste, every restoration reduces environmental impact—better for the building and the planet.
